France - Canal du Midi to Hauteford

Back on the road north again wecame to another town with a medieval DonJon (castle and fortified city). The old city of Montcuq dated back to the 1100s. Parking our car again we head off on foot up through the narrow streets. It is always UP! We are getting pretty fit these holidays with all the walking.
